For this review, my brain, which often thinks it’s still 12 years old, spent way too much time trying to come up with some predictably juvenile jokes about putting nuts in your mouth. And since it’s late and I have the metabolism of a sloth, I’m just going to cut to the chase and tell you what I’ve found to be the best nuts to eat.
Are you ready?
Sorry, brain on the loose again.
Okay, okay. Seriously now, go check out these Blue Diamond Crafted Gourmet Almonds.
It’s a Flavor EXPLOSION!
There are 4 flavors to choose from – Black Truffle, Pink Himalayan Sea Salt, Rosemary & Sea Salt, and Garlic, Herb, and Olive Oil. Costco had the Garlic, Herb, and Olive Oil ones on sale and I just knew it was going to be love at first bite. (Sorry, my kid loves corny puns, so that was for him.)
When you put these nuts in your mouth, the olive oil flavor completely dominates. It’s kind of like being stoned with a bunch of friends and one of them dares you to chug a whole bottle of olive oil, and you think, “Wow, why didn’t I think of that before?!”
Good For You
As someone who considers tacos to be one of the main food groups, it goes without saying that I’m not a nutritionist. But I do know that most nuts are good for you. And in fact, almonds are considered the creme-de-la-creme, or I guess the nut-de-la-nut in this case. Each serving (which sadly isn’t the whole bag) has 170 calories and 15 grams of fat, but it’s the GOOD fat. There’s also only 5 grams of carbs of which only 1 gram is sugar, so they’re Keto friendly….probably.
Not really much more to say, other than that you should definitely go pick up some for yourself today. It’s a nutty world out there, so might as well eat the best ones.
